LFest 2015: Indie Author Panel

This year’s LFest at Uttoxeter Racecourse had it all – sunshine, women, books & song. Really, what more is there in life? By day, I soaked up some rays, got cultured in the Arts Tent and ate some of the largest ice creams ever imagined. By night I whooped to the likes of Stooshe & Lucy Spraggan, drank lager out of plastic cups and wore a cowboy hat with some style. Nearly.

This was an LFest awash with love and positivity, the highlight being the Indie Author Panel hosted by me (of course!). Despite some mic issues at the start, the readings were varied, the audience fantastic and it was fabulous fun to be a part of – watch the video above, my reading from This London Love is towards the end (around 1:01). I can’t wait for next year’s LFest already – in the meantime, see you at Brighton Pride on August 1st if you’re going!

I’m hosting the Literature Live Tent at Brighton Pride on August 1st, Preston Park, from 2pm. Come on down!
