The Lesbian Book Club With TB Markinson

Welcome to episode 41 of the Lesbian Book Club as I interview US author TB Markinson, whose recent books have included The Fall Girl and A Family Woman. TB talks about being an American in London, the highs and lows of living the writing life, the magic of characters and story, and why she started her new website www.iheartlesfic.com to serve the lesbian fiction community.

As usual, I also do a run-down of the Amazon lesbian fiction charts in the US & UK, as well as highlighting the shortlists for the Diva Awards and the Goldies – Diva is taking place in June in London, and the Goldies in July in Las Vegas. Tickest are still available for both! Plus, if you’re in the UK, don’t forget EllCon, the brand-new European Lesfic Literary Conference on the block coming in August. For more on that, head to: http://ellconmeet.org/

As if that wasn’t enough, I also fill you in on what I’ve been up to, including wrapping up The London Of Us, book four in the London Romance series (due out in June); and writing my joint lesbian romance with Harper Bliss – called Once Upon A Princess – a royal romance due out at the end of May.

Thanks to Denise at The Lesbian Lounge for hosting and producing this podcast, it’s much appreciated!

Twice In A Lifetime Audiobook Out Now!

Dead chuffed to let you know that my best-seller Twice In A Lifetime is now out in audio! Hooray! Whether you’ve read the book or not, you’re in for a treat as TJ Richards has done a stellar job of narrating the tale of Harriet and Sally, bringing a delicious extra dimension to their story of second-chance romance. An American narrating one of my stories? It’s like I’ve died and gone to heaven ;0)

The Lesbian Book Club with EJ Noyes

Welcome to episode 39 of the Lesbian Book Club as I interview Aussie author EJ Noyes. EJ’s debut novel Ask, Tell was one of the most talked about in lesbian fiction last year, and she’s recently followed it up with her second book, the deliciously sexy lesbian romance Turbulence. EJ tells me about juggling multiple plots in her head, the surprise of her first novel flying off the shelves and how she’s a plane nerd at heart.

As usual, I follow that up with a run-down of the Amazon Lesbian Fiction charts in the US & UK, and fill you in on what I’ve been up to, including releasing three audiobooks: London Calling, This London Love and A Girl Called London are out now, and Twice In A Lifetime is coming next month. I’d love to hear who you’d like on the podcast – so email me and let me know:mail@clarelydon.co.uk

New Covers For The London Romance Series!

If you’ve been paying attention, you might have noticed that my London Romance series has a brand-new set of covers – I hope you love them! I decided to give the series a cohesive look so they’re easily identifiable as being linked (despite being standalone books), and I’m really pleased with how they’ve turned out.

The stories inside haven’t changed, with each book focusing on a different couple in this London group of friends. But I thought it was time they got a facelift, and you can expect two more books in this lesbian romance series this year, both with linked covers. So if you haven’t read London Calling, This London Love or A Girl Called London yet, now’s the time to do so before the next books in the series hit the shelves!

Book four, The London Of Us will be out this summer.
