I’m now well into my summer stride – the light and fluffy duvet’s on, the BBQ has been used at least once and I’ve even sat in my garden to have breakfast. It’s like I live in LA or summat. You know what else summer’s about? Drinking beer in fields and getting all dreamy at festivals, that’s what! So in my dayjob as a music journalist, I’ve been writing miles of copy about festivals – seeing bands, drinking cider from paper cups, having your tent blown away in a huge gust of piss, that sort of thing. And then it suddenly occurred to me that I really should have remembered to blag/buy a ticket to at least one this year. Fail.
