The Lesbian Book Club Summer Special!

Welcome to episode 62 of the Lesbian Book Club where I interview eight lesbian fiction authors and asks them how their 2020 is going in this Half-Year Summer Round-Up show. What a year it’s been so far, right? Nobody could have written this.

The eight authors are: Eliza Lentzski, Clare Ashton, Cheyenne Blue, Giselle Fox, Jae, Wendy Hudson, KJ & Lise Gold. I quiz them on what they’ve learned, what they’ve written, the plans for the rest of the year, where they’d love to be and their future hopes. Expect high-brow answers, lofty goals and humour peppered throughout.

I also do a run-down of the Amazon Lesbian Fiction charts in the US & UK. Plus, I outline how I’ve changed my publishing goals for the year, shifting her next London Romance book to January 2020 after completing my own Half-Year Goals Round-up and reflecting on it. I hope you enjoy this special girl-gang episode, I loved asking so many authors how their year is going!

Lesbians Who Write Podcast Gets a Fresh Look!

Lesbians Who Write is a weekly podcast I co-host with my friend and fellow author, TB Markinson. Every week, we discuss the good, the bad and the ugly about being a full-time writer, drawing back the curtain on the writer’s life. In 2020, after over 70 podcasts, we’ve given the podcast a fresh look, and I love it. Now, when you come to the website, we’re bright and yellow, make no mistake! I hope you like the new look, too.  If you haven’t listened to the podcast yet, why not give it a try? We combine writerly advice with snark & humour. Fill up your ears with lesbians today!

The Lesbian Book Club with KD Williamson

Welcome to episode 61 of the Lesbian Book Club where I interview US author KD Williamson. KD is famed for her cops n docs series starting with Blurred Lines, and her latest romance Big Girl Pill has been lighting up the lesfic charts of late. Her books are cops and docs, wrapped in romance, wrapped in humour. Plus, they’re snarky and the characters are real. We chat writing secondary characters, diversity in lesbian fiction and KD’s very funny writing style. She says: “I don’t write books just about two main characters falling in love. I don’t write sanitised fiction. If you want books that are light, cute, nice and nobody swears, that’s great. But I’m not that writer.”

I also do a run-down of the Amazon Lesbian Fiction charts in the US & UK. Enjoy the podcast, particularly KD’s gorgeous accent!

One Golden Summer Out Now!

Thrilled to let you know that One Golden Summer, my brand-new lesbian romance, is out now!

You’re going to love this book because:

1. It’s got sun, sea & steam. Steamy, steamy steam.

2. It’s an age-gap romance pulsing with emotion.

3. It’s got hot movie stars on bikes. In leather. I know.

4. It’s set in a scorching UK summer.

5. It features wine, ice cream and iced buns. Hmmm, buns.

One Golden Summer was co-written with my friend and podcast host, TB Markinson, and we both loved writing this captivating love story with all the feels. I hope you enjoy reading the story of Kirsty & Saffron. Do let me know what you think.
