The Lesbian Book Club with Claire Highton-Stevenson

Welcome to episode 55 of the Lesbian Book Club where I interview fellow UK author Claire Highton-Stevenson. Claire’s latest book, In Dyer Need, is an end-of-the-world romance that’ll have you on the edge of your seat. Claire writes detective stories as well as romance, and also won a Goldie award this year for her heartfelt book, The Promise. Claire talks about creating strong characters, writing sex scenes and how she’s an accidental writer. Her advice: decide what you want and go for it! Find her at: www.itsclastevofficial.com

I also do a run-down of the Amazon Lesbian Fiction charts in the US & UK. Plus, I talk about what I’ve been up to, including working on my next, as yet untitled book, and berating myself for not writing a Christmas book this year. Next year, I promise I’ll write one. And the year after that too, just to make up for a lack of one for the past four years.

The Lesbian Book Club With Monica McCallan

Episode 53 of the Lesbian Book Club sees me chat with US author Monica McCallan. Her latest book, Good Spin, is a mash-up of friends to lovers and the fake girlfriend trope. Who doesn’t love those? Monica has been writing and publishing for two years and her other novels include Back To The Start, Better Than A Dream and Sweat Equity. She talks about working at her craft, juggling a full-time job, listening to readers and how much she loves craft beer. Continue reading » “The Lesbian Book Club With Monica McCallan”

The Lesbian Book Club With Elle Spencer

Welcome to episode 46 of the Lesbian Book Club where I had the pleasure of interviewing US author Elle Spencer, whose book Casting Lacey was the runaway success at the beginning of the year, staying at No.1 in the US for a month. Elle writes angst-filled romance with snark and humour, and I loved Casting Lacey, as did most of the world. She talks about her debut success, her first year as a full-time writer and how she’s excited to take her writing to the next level.

As usual, I also do a run-down of the Amazon Lesbian Fiction charts in the US & UK. I also chat about what I’ve been up to, including getting my latest book, London, Actually (book five in the London Romance series) ready for launch on October 24th. Plus, my co-written novel with Harper Bliss – Once Upon A Princess – is out now in audiobook, so run and grab it!

The Lesbian Book Club is produced & hosted by The Lesbian Lounge on My Lesbian Radio.
