I’m really thrilled to be taking part in the inaugural Diva Literary Festival in November – it’s going to be brilliant, and I’m looking forward to it as both a writer and a reader. There’s an awesome line-up of authors taking part including Val McDermid and Stella Duffy, and I’m dead chuffed to be a part of it! If you fancy coming along, tickets are now on sale and I will be there doing readings, taking part in panel discussions, bigging up lesbian romance and so much more!
One particular highlight of the festival are the Diva Literary Awards – and these are now open for nominations. If you’ve read and enjoyed one of my books, I hope you’ll consider nominating me in the Romance and LGB Fiction categories. Seeing as they’re asking for a specific book, I’d say my best-seller Nothing To Lose fits the bill. You can nominate by clicking here, and if you do so, you stand to win a pair of tickets to the event proper!
You can also nominate your other favourite authors in the other categories of Poetry, Crime, Memoir, Non-Fiction, Lifetime Achievement and One To Watch. If you think I’m also One To Watch, feel free to nominate that, too. *smile*.
I hope to see you at the Awards Dinner on November 3rd and then throughout the festival over the weekend of November 4th and 5th. Do come and say hi, it would be lovely to meet you!
The Diva Literary Festival is taking place on November 3rd-5th at Birmingham’s Hilton Metropole Hotel.
