I’ve got two podcasts, and I love them both hard.

Lesbians Who Write is a weekly show hosted by myself and TB Markinson. Our aim? To draw back the curtain on the writer’s life, make you laugh and chat about lesbian fiction. The podcast has its own website which you can find here. Subscribe by going here.

The Lesbian Book Club is a monthly show. In every one, I interview a lesfic author about their novels, fill you in on lesfic news and tell you what’s riding high in the Kindle lesbian fiction charts. If you’re into lesfic, listen in!

All the Lesbian Book Club episodes are listed below. For the Lesbians Who Write episodes, head here. Fill up your ears with lesbian goodness today.

The Lesbian Book Club With KG MacGregor

Episode 17 of The Lesbian Book Club sees me interviewing US lesfic writer KG MacGregor, whose most recent book was Touch Of A Woman. KG is a prolific writer with more than 20 novels to her name spanning a long author career first in Xena fanfic, and now in lesfic. She talks about her writing process, how her style has evolved and her future plans, as well as outlining her role as president of the Lambda Literary Association. Find out all this & more in our ace chat!

As usual, I also do a run-down of the Amazon lesbian fiction charts in the US & UK which features books from authors such as Gerri Hill, Harper Bliss, Catherine Ryan-Hyde and Patricia Highsmith. Plus, I share what I’ve been up to of late – mainly writing books, trying to have a healthy February and baking cakes! The Lesbian Book Club With Cari Hunter

Welcome to Episode 16 of The Lesbian Book Club! We’re already nearly a month down in 2016 already (scary!), so I thought I’d take the time to speak to the fabulous UK lesbian crime author Cari Hunter of No Good Reason and the Cold To The Touch fame. I read both of these in preparation for the interview, and I can tell you they’re excellent books, packed with cracking dialogue, realism and no little charm. Cari talks about her writing process, how she’s an accidental novelist and also the key question: what is her favourite biscuit? Find out all this & more in our fantastic chat!

As usual, I also do a run-down of the Amazon lesbian fiction charts in the US & UK, as well as sharing what I’ve been up to of late, including writing a follow-up to my last book – All I Want For Valentine’s is out on Jan 29th, so I hope you’ll follow along with Tori & Holly’s story! Get in touch and let her know who you’d like as a guest on the show: mail@clarelydon.co.uk

The Lesbian Book Club With Susan X Meagher

Welcome to Episode 15 of The Lesbian Book Club where I had the good fortune to interview NYC-based author Susan X Meagher (The Right Time and the I Found My Heart In San Francisco series). Susan talks about her writing process, how she went from writing Xena fanfic to being the prolific author she is, and the amazing longevity of the San Francisco series – she’s just finished the 20th book in the series, with another six to go!

I also do a run-down of the Amazon lesbian fiction charts and Christmas books to read, as well as sharing what I’ve been up to of late, including seeing the film Carol and getting ready for Christmas. After seeing Carol, I’ve decided I’m going to take up smoking and martini drinking for a living, seeing as they made it seem so cool. That, and making time to go for tea at The Ritz as a regular fixture in my life.

The Lesbian Book Club with Fletcher DeLancey

Welcome to Episode 14 of The Lesbian Book Club where I interview US sci-fi author Fletcher DeLancey (The Caphenon and Without A Front: The Producer’s Challenge). Fletcher talks about how her writing revealed her true self, how she moved to Portugal to be with her true love and how she’s about to launch the third book in her Chronicles of Alsea series – Without A Front: The Warrior’s Challenge. Fletcher is a night owl when it comes to writing, and the view from her office window will turn you green with envy!

I also do a run-down of the Amazon lesbian fiction charts, and a sweep of what I’ve been up to, including writing a bonus chapter for my novel All I Want For Christmas, along with taking a trip to Lyon. The Lesbian Book Club with Kiki Archer

Welcome to Episode 13 of The Lesbian Book Club where I interview fellow British author Kiki Archer. Kiki is a huge lesfic fan favourite who’s so far written six novels including her debut But She Is My Student, and her latest smash-hit Too Late… I Love You. She discusses the secrets of her success, how being a full-time author is her perfect job, and how she’s already working on her next book, due out next summer.

After that, I do my normal run down of the Amazon lesbian fiction charts, as well as reading a special preview from my new novel, All I Want For Christmas, due out October 31st. Get in touch and let me know what you think of the show: mail@clarelydon.co.uk

The Lesbian Book Club with Jen Silver

On Episode 12 of The Lesbian Book Club, join me for an interview with fellow British author Jen Silver, who has so far released two books, Starting Over and Arc Over Time. Jen chats on how she’s seized the day after retiring and is now a full-time writer, with her third book The Circle Dance due out in February 2016.

Her novels centre on the lives and loves of women in their 40s and 50s, something it was important to Jen to represent: “I wanted to show that getting older can be fun and we can all grow old disgracefully!” If you’re a fan of fast-paced, witty yarns with cracking dialogue, check out Jen’s books.

As well as the interview, I also have a run-down of the Amazon lesbian fiction charts, as well as discussing book pricing issues and what she’s been up to this month. Get in touch with me and let me know who you’d like as a guest on the show: mail@clarelydon.co.uk

On Episode 11 of The Lesbian Book Club, I have an interview with international smash-hit author Robin Alexander, whose latest books include The Trip and Next Time. Robin chats about how her close connections with her family influences her writing, her love of good humour in her books, getting into a daily writing habit and her goals for the rest of the year. Oh, and how she really wants to write a horror book!

As well as my chat with Robin, I also take a canter down the Amazon lesbian fiction charts which this month have a strangely medical leaning, as well as chatting about my summer readings, the upcoming readings in UK lesfic-land and how I’ve just completed draft one of book four. Yay! Expect it out later this year.

Welcome to episode ten of The Lesbian Book Club – yes, episode ten! I’m so enjoying doing this podcast and I hope you enjoy listening too. It’s given me the opportunity to interview some great lesfic authors, including this time around with fellow Londoner & lesbian fiction author Crin Claxton.

Crin just published her third book Death’s Doorway in June, the follow-up to The Supernatural Detective. She chats about her love of London and cooking, her butch identity, her writing process and how she plans to put out a book a year from now on.

As well as the fab chat with Crin, I also give you the low-down on the Amazon lesbian fiction charts in the UK and US, with notable books from Georgia Beers, Kiki Archer, Jade Winters, Robin Alexander and me! Plus, there’s a review of LFest, the GCLS awards and my upcoming hosting of the Brighton Pride Literature Live tent. If you’re going to Brighton Pride on August 1st, stop by and say hi!
