The Lesbian Book Club with Andrea Bramhall

Welcome to episode 32 of the Lesbian Book Club, where I had the pleasure of interviewing fabulous UK author Andrea Bramhall.  Andrea is the author of many books including Clean Slate, Nightingale, Collide-O-Scope and Under Parr. Her books take in romance and crime, and she’s also a Lambda award winner with Clean Slate. Andrea talks about the inspiration for her writing and her characters, how she plans a book, tapping into her darker side and diversity in lesfic. She’s incredibly candid in the interview, talking about darker times in her life that have fed into her fiction.

The Lesbian Book Club With Harper Bliss

Welcome to episode 31 of the Lesbian Book Club, where I had the pleasure of interviewing the uber-prolific author Harper Bliss and her wife Caroline. Together the duo run their small press, Ladylit Publishing, which as well as publishing all of Harper’s books has also just launched MyLesfic.com, a new discount lesbian fiction newsletter. Harper is a huge favourite with fans of lesbian romance and her books are regular chart-toppers around the globe – the most recent being Everything Between Us and This Foreign Affair, part of the Pink Bean series. Harper and Caroline are currently digital nomads and 2017 is shaping up to be a tour de force for them both.

As usual, I also do a run-down of the Amazon Lesbian Fiction charts in the US & UK, as well as discussing the sad demise of the UK Lesfic blog. In this slice of lesfic life, I interview US best-seller Nancy-Ann Healy who’s released a slew of novels under her own name including Intersection and Betrayal, along with three best-selling series under her alias J.A. Armstrong (By Design, Special Delivery and Off Screen). Nancy tells us about her former life as a stand-up & playwright, how she writes so consistently, as well as revealing her karaoke tune!
