Ah, 2023, I’ve been expecting you!
Another year dawns, and I’m almost ready. Usually at this moment, I trot out the amount of books, translations and audiobooks I want to get out into the world this year. I’ve done it for years, so it’s normal. But this year is different. Because yes, while I do want to do all of that, my health is more important. If that fails, everything fails. Last year, my health suffered, physical and mental. This year, I’m putting it first. If that means I get no books out, that’s okay. It’s not my intention, but that’s okay. But I’m fairly sure it won’t come to that. But as a marker of how much I value getting my health back on track, it’s first on my list of goals… Continue reading » “My Goals For 2023”
It’s the end of another 12 months, and what a year it’s been! 2022 has had its high points, but also its lows. Ready to read my plans? Here they are… Continue reading » “My Goals For 2021”

But for all the terrible things around the world, business-wise at least, 2020 was my best year yet. I know. I’m not going to dwell on the pandemic, divisive politics and racism: 2020 had them all. This blog entry is going to see how 2020 was for me professionally. Did I hit my goals? Did I publish books? Did I survive? If you want to know the sticky details, read on… Continue reading » “My Goals For 2020: How Did I Do?”
I’m thrilled to announce that TB Markinson and I have launched a brand-new weekly podcast called Lesbians Who Write. It’s about… well, lesbians who write. We decided not to be cryptic. People like us!
If you’ve ever wanted to draw back the curtain on the writer’s life, join us every Monday as we put out a new episode talking about what it is to be a writer in 2019, what it is to write lesbian fiction and the ups and downs of the writer’s life. If you’re a reader, it’s a fascinating insight behind the books. If you’re a writer, we hope you can relate.
Join us every Monday – the first three episodes are already up. For more information, go here: www.lesbianswhowrite.com
